MRDS Protective Shroud offers optimal protection during intense tactical situations. The MRDS Protective Shroud by Insight Technology is machined from rugged aerospace aluminum; the optional MRDS Shroud is designed to protect the MRDS sight during combat. The military specifications require that the shroud protect the MRDS when mounted atop of a 4x32 BCO on a fully loaded M4 carbine and dropped from 1 meter directly on to the Shroud MRDS.  The Insight Shroud will also work in conjunction with all MRDS Mounts.
